Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

WILDAPX ("WILDAPX," "we," "us," or "our") operates the WILDAPX mobile application and the wildapx.com website (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using WILDAPX, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The short version: we collect what's needed to run your trophy log, your score, and your Camp — your account info, the hunts and catches you log, and basic device info for notifications. We don't sell your personal information. Anything you post to a Camp is visible to that Camp's members; anything on your public profile (if you choose to make it public) is visible to other users.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create a WILDAPX account, we collect your email address and a username. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information those services share with us.

Trophy log data

The core of WILDAPX is your log. When you create an entry, we store the species, date, quantity, weight and length (if provided), the weapon or method used, any notes you write, and any photos you attach. Location data — including precise GPS coordinates — is only collected if you choose to attach it to an entry; you can log without it.

Camp and social activity

If you join or create a Camp, we store your membership and any comments, reactions, or shared entries within that Camp. Content shared in a Camp is visible to other members of that Camp. Your score and rank are visible on leaderboards, which may be scoped to your Camp or to all WILDAPX users depending on which leaderboard you're viewing.

Pro profile information

If you subscribe to WILDAPX Pro, you may add a profile banner image, a primary link, and social media handles. This information is designed to be publicly visible on your profile to anyone who views it, including users you haven't connected with.

Device and usage information

We collect a push notification token from your device so we can deliver alerts you've opted into (badge milestones, Camp activity, season reminders, and leaderboard updates). We also collect basic usage data — like which features you use and how often — to understand how the app is performing and to fix problems.

Purchase information

WILDAPX Pro subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store or Google Play billing systems. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple and Google share with us only what's needed to confirm your subscription is active.

2. How we use your information

3. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. In-app promotional content

WILDAPX may display promotional banners from outdoor brands and partners within the app. We do not share your personal trophy log data with advertisers, and ad placements are managed independently of your individual activity.

5. Your choices

6. Data retention

We retain your account and log data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information from active systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Children's privacy

WILDAPX is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted data transmission and access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorized access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.

This policy is a working draft tailored to WILDAPX's actual features as of June 2026. Before publishing live, have it reviewed by a lawyer familiar with app privacy requirements (including Apple's App Store guidelines and any state-specific privacy laws like the CCPA) to make sure it fully matches your business and any additional features you launch with.
